Casa Peya is an old «noucentista» style building from 1930. The current owner decided to turn it into a charming hotel with nine rooms, which combine the sober yet elegant architecture of the time with the modernity of the new elements, particularly baths. Our intervention also consisted, in particular, in the restoration of deteriorated elements such as the façade or the balustrade of the courtyard, which we completely rebuilt with pieces that faithfully copy the originals.
Also worth noting is the exact reproduction of the finish of the railing, which had to be modified for the installation of the elevator. Despite being a small hotel, it has all the comforts, such as the pool built in the magnificent interior courtyard, where we also discovered the stone from one of the walls, reinforcing the uniqueness of this small oasis in the center of Palafrugell.
